I have seen so many adorable ways that people have announced they are expecting! From your classic photo with the ultrasound to incorporating pets to even making a video, there is no limit to the creativity. I found this Pregnancy Announcement board on Pinterest that has so many cute ideas!

Every couple decides when is the best time for them to make the big announcement about their coming bundle of joy. Some share the news right away while others prefer to wait until after the first trimester. There is no wrong way to do it as long as you and your spouse are on the same page. We told close family and friends soon after we found out, partially because we were in such shock there was no way we could keep it a secret and partially because the twins started to show fairly early on my small frame. This being said, we waited to post anything on social media until we were about 17 weeks along and knew the gender and that both girls were healthy.

Since Austin and I met at Baylor, we wanted to incorporate it into our pregnancy announcement. Our senior year, we carved our initials into an oak tree on campus (picture above) so we thought it only fitting to take our photo by the same tree along with the adorable cheerleading outfits Austin’s dad had purchased for the girls.

And thanks to my parents for snapping the perfect picture!
